As a Lead Support Staff, you MUST be available and remain available to work Monday - Friday 12pm-10pm and every other weekend 9am-9pm, with one assigned day off during the week. Minimum 32 hours per week. Starting at $15.25 per hour.

Then we have the perfect opportunity waiting for you as a Lead Support Staff working with individuals with intellectual/developmental and/or physical disabilities in their home and community.

The Lead Support Staff, works closely with the Client Services Manager(s) (CSM) and Associate Director of Client Services (ADCS) to deliver high quality direct support to all clients of Lakeview Supported Living Services (LSLS).  The responsibilities of Lead Support Staff include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining a strong rapport with all clients.
  • The ability to gain an understanding of the Support Plans for all clients.
  • Attending internal team meetings as needed.
  • Collaborating and communicating professionally with CSMs and the ADCS.
  • Conducting initial and ongoing training for both new and existing Support Staff at the request of the CSMs or ADCS.
  • Providing input on the performance of Support Staff working with clients.
  • Providing Direct Support for clients, including:
    • Assisting with or performing personal cares.
    • Preparing meals.
    • Grocery shopping.
    • Transporting and supporting clients during errands or community and enrichment activities.
    • Administering medication.
    • Assisting with bathing/showering.
    • Transferring.
    • Completing household chores.
    • Managing behaviors.
    • Providing safety and supervision.
    • Documenting completed tasks.
    • Charting wellness information.
    • Completing Visit Notes.
    • Helping others maintain their physical and emotional health.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Associate's Degree.
  • At least 2 years of Direct Support experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Caregiver Background Check.
  • A valid driver's license with personal transportation that is reliable and insured.
  • A smartphone with suitable voice and data plan for daily calls, email and internet usage.
